POP UP PIONEERS BY-LAWS
Revised as of July 2007

Article I Name The name of the organization is the "Pop-up Pioneers"
Article II Purpose To promote and provide enjoyment, companionship and recreation for family camping in a Coleman Pop-Up camper, and other camping trailers or RV's.
Article III Membership Open to all Pop Up Camper, camping trailer or RV owners and their immediate family.  These members have the right to vote and are eligible to hold an official office.
    The membership year will run from April 1st through the last day of March.
    Any new member joining after September 1st will pay half of the Annual dues.
    Unpaid members will not receive club newsletter.
Article IV Financial Club dues must be paid by March 31st.
    Annual dues will be $25.00 per camper.
    Any member resigning from the club will forfeit their dues.
Article V Meeting and Campouts The club will strive to have one campout per month.
    A monthly meeting of the club members shall be held at the monthly campout after the Saturday evening supper or at a time designated by the President.
    Guests are welcome at the campouts.  Guest will pay the regular campground rates while member's camp at the club discount.
Article VI Officers The club officers shall consist of a President, Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer.  The term of office shall be one year.
    The President will preside at the regular monthly business meeting.  He/she will enforce the By-laws and rules of the club.
    The Vice President will preside in the absence of the President.
    The Secretary/Treasurer shall keep the minutes of the meeting, all club correspondence, a roster of all members, an accurate record of all dues and monies collected and spent.  These monies will be secured in a checking account.  The treasurer's report will be published in the monthly newsletter.
    The President, with the consent of the membership, may appoint additional members to serve as chairman of any committee deemed necessary by the club.
Article VII Elections Nominations for election shall be made during the January meeting.
    Elections shall be held by ballot at the March meeting.  The new officer term will become effective beginning in April.
    If a vacancy occurs in the office of President, the Vice President shall succeed to the office of President.
    All vacancies among other officers shall be filled for the remaining term by appointment of the President, subject to approval of the present officers and membership.
